Informational Picket, NWA SFO Dear Local Lodge 1781 Officers, Stewards, Committees, Members & Friends,
Informational Picket
Local Lodge 1781 is organizing a picket at: Northwest Airlines SFO Upper Terminal Doors Wednesday, November 21, 2007 3pm-4pm.
As you may be aware, Northwest Airline pilots were
successful several months ago in opening their contract
and obtaining additional benefits from NWA.
Under the "Me Too" clause, IAM members are entitled
to the same or similar benefit increases. District 143 has met with
Northwest and it appears NWA's interpretation of the "Me too"
differs from our Union's position.
There will be picketing in front of the NWA ticket
counter to support IAM efforts to increase our benefits. On the same
day, there will be picketing by other IAM members at various
airports across the country. Please try to attend.
